IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
Before we can process your order, your Certificate of Appreciation must be approved by the USGS Bird Banding Laboratory. Certificates are submitted in batches to the USGS twice a month for verification. Once verified, your order will be produced and shipped. The verification process can take around 4 weeks and then production can then take another 4-6 weeks. These lead times are subject to change at any time.

We Only Accept the GREEN Certificate of Appreciation
DO NOT upload a blue banding confirmation email. We cannot process your order without a Certificate of Appreciation. To obtain the certificate, open your banding report confirmation email and click the “Get Certificate” button. See the second picture for an example.

Multiple Certificates? Add Separately to Your Cart
Each certificate must be added to the cart as a separate item. For example, if you have 5 certificates, you should see 5 individual replica bands in your cart at checkout. Quantity discounts apply only to multiple bands on one certificate. Pricing starts over for each new certificate. Do not upload a PDF with multiple certificates on it.

Replica Band Details
We only make replicas of butt-end bands. We do NOT make replicas of lock-on, C-shaped, rivet bands, reward bands, Jack Miner bands, or plastic bands. All replica bands are made from plain (silver) aluminum, regardless of the original band’s color or material. The USGS provides us with the band size and stamping based on the band number from your Certificate. Replica bands will only be made for sizes F3 - F9, if your Certificate is for a different size, your order will be refunded. Replica bands are produced using current tooling and formats, so while they replicate the original band number and text, older bands (especially those over 10 years old) may differ slightly in font or size from the original. Bands will come shiny and brand new, they are not available weathered or aged.

File Format Requirements
Your Certificate must be uploaded as a PDF, JPEG, or PNG file. CFM files cannot be processed and will not come through. See third picture for example.
