UV Stable Black Aluminum Pole Tags – Most Popular Style

Our vertical rectangle UV Stable Black Aluminum Pole Tags are one of the most popular styles used for utility pole identification. Designed with large, highly visible numbers, these tags help crews quickly locate and identify poles in the field. The black finish is laser etched to reveal bright white graphics, creating high-contrast for pole numbers, cooperative names, utility logos, barcodes, QR codes, and other identifying information. The UV Stable finish is designed for 20+ years of outdoor exposure, making it a popular choice for utility asset marking and pole numbering programs.

NOTE: Large vertical laser etched tags require a minimum of 3/16″ holes. When mounting to metal poles, a standard 3/16″ pop rivet can be used. For vertical numbering layouts, punctuation marks, dashes, and other special characters are not available.

UV Stable Black Aluminum Pole Tags – Other Shapes & Sizes

In addition to vertical rectangle designs, UV Stable Black Aluminum Utility Pole Tags are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to meet specific utility marking requirements. Round tags, square tags, and custom shapes can be manufactured with numbering, logos, barcodes, QR codes, and other identifying information. These tags offer the same high-contrast appearance as our vertical styles while providing additional flexibility for unique applications.

Plain Aluminum Stamped Utility Pole Tags

Stamped aluminum Utility Pole Tags remain a reliable and economical solution for utility inspection and treatment programs. Commonly used to display inspection dates, treatment types, treatment dates, and ownership information, these tags provide long-lasting identification. They are commonly used for pole maintenance records, treated pole marking, and other utility applications.

These are made with .025″ aluminum, a thinner material than our standard tags, and can be made in many different sizes.
