Applicator to close 1005-681 and 681IC tags.

Continuous Improvement: Upgraded Sea Turtle Tags and Applicators
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we’ve made enhancements to our Inconel sea turtle tags and applicators. We’ve developed a new high-strength, saltwater-resistant aluminum applicator designed to reduce tag failure and minimize disruptions to research caused by applicator or tag issues.
These new pliers have been rigorously tested in marine environments over the past five years and have consistently demonstrated durability and reliable tag sealing.
Effective May 9, 2025, all new tags ordered will be compatible with our new 681S-MOD applicator. Please note that the 681SHD applicator has been discontinued.
The updated applicators offer a 40% cost savings compared to our previous model.
To support this transition, we’re offering one free applicator with every order for the next year.
