From the President

At National Band, we have always sought to serve our customers to the best of our ability, by making the highest quality identification products. And in recent years, we have started to focus on not only producing good products, but also building more trust, accuracy, and integrity into our daily operations. I feel so honored to be the current President of such a wonderful company–a company that has been in my family for 5 generations now. I cherish the history and legacy of this place, and have such high hopes for where we can continue to grow.

When I started at National Band in 1981, I never dreamed to be sitting in the position I hold right now. As the first woman in the family to work here, I had a lot to prove. I haven’t always done everything right in my tenure, but I’ve learned and grown more through being a small business owner than I ever anticipated. It has taught me to be strong, to trust myself, and to not shy away from a challenge. Family business is tough, but one of the most rewarding things I can imagine being a part of.

As we close out our first month of 2016, I want to offer my thanks to the incredible customers who have faithfully come back to us year after year. I want to thank our amazingly hard working employees who have come and gone over the last 113 years–you’ve made this legacy possible. I want to thank my family for constantly seeking improvement and growth for us as individuals and as a company.

Our Vision statement says that “we live for the day when the spirit of our unbreakable family blesses everyone we reach; when trust is built into every solution we produce from concept to delivery; and when National Band and Tag is the #1 choice for identification bands and tags.”

We continue to focus on this vision. And as President, that is my commitment to our customers, vendors, employees, and family this year and always.
